Rebirth is not a return to the past, nor the restoration of what was once lost.

It is a process of moving closer to what something was always meant to be.

For rebirth to occur, there must be an ending. Forms that have fulfilled their role, structures that have become fixed and no longer move, must come to an end once.

An ending is not a loss, but a clearing. Rebirth is not about adding something new, but about shedding what is no longer necessary.

What remains after this shedding is not decoration or memory, but essence.

To be reborn with only what is essential is to move closer to a state where that essence can hold its truest light.

Rebirth happens when this essence is reassembled in a different configuration, in a different phase than before, and brought back into motion in a form suited to the present.

That is why rebirth is neither regression nor revival. It is the reconstruction of essence, purified through an ending, so that it may move again.

That is what rebirth means to me.
